On this episode, which was recorded on Mother’s Day, 2012, we have a bit of a different method of delivery of the message.

Some of the women of our church have recently begun a program called “Women of Valor”, and each of them have signed a pledge to live Godly lives. It’s a marvelous initiative they’ve taken, and Pastor Steve O’Brien asked three of the women to speak about different aspects of motherhood today.

The speakers are Staci Campbell, Loleta Diaz and Jenna Combs, in that order.

Last week we found that it was God, himself, that created the church for a spiritual purpose.  This week we will look at what the church is destined to become.

Hebrews speaks of the Church of the Firstborn, whose names are written the Lamb’s book of life.  The Church of the Firstborn is a body of redeemed and forgiven people.  They are in no way perfect, but they are no longer condemned because they entered the Most Holy Place through the body of Christ our high priest.

Let’s look into why the church is something that you will want to stay connected to.

On this Easter morning we are going examine the evidence that is found in the Gospel of John for the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This supernatural event, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is the center of the message that is called “the Gospel”.  It is the event that change the first century culture and that is still changing the lives of many thousands of people each and every day.  Listen with us as we begin with Mary approaching the tomb of Jesus.

Philip’s request was wonderful, one we all truly desire. But is there a chance that several chapters later in John’s Gospel, Jesus actually fulfills that request?

As we examine Jesus’s prayer before His crucifixion, our hope is that you come to experience the Father’s heart for you.

Paul was warned not to go to Rome or he would be killed. But from the beginning Jesus revealed to Paul that he must suffer for the sake of the Lord’s name.

Paul then had to make the decision to trust in the path that was before him… or not.

Today we go to the hour when Jesus found himself looking into the cup of suffering. Maybe Jesus thought, “Do I trust the Father’s plan?  Or is there another way?”

There’s just something missing. The driving power that made every early disciple appear fanatical or totally convinced that God was assisting them.

They dropped everything, and many gave their lives to spread the Biblical message to their generation. Our generation is no different. They are as Godless as any generation before. They need God’s presence to lead them out of sin. The question is…who will seek God’s presence for this generation?

The Passover Seder is a Jewish ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover. You may remember that the Last Supper, and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus occurred around this time of year.

Today, we are going to learn about the Seder, and I think you will be amazed at how this Jewish tradition is filled with symbols of Jesus.

Our speaker today is Scott Roberts, of a ministry called Rock of Israel, whose goal is to introduce the messiah, Yeshua Ha-Mashiach, Jesus Christ to the Jewish people.
