Ecclesiastes comes to a close with Solomon’s bottom line being exactly right! Then we begin a very unique book…one that is dedicated to the celebration of married love.
Solomon’s cynicism continues, but there are some glimpses of light, too.
On today’s show, I announce the winner of the AMD powered, Windows Vista Ultimate Media Center PC.
It’s a very different episode for Lifespring!, and I hope you enjoy it.
Sorry about that, but my parents are needing a bit more of my time right now. I’ll try to get the show out by tomorrow evening.
Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae.
Finishing up the book of Proverbs.
Solomon sounds, for a moment, like Jesus.
This episode is called “Falling Into God”.
What do I mean by that? There used to be a series of tv commercials for an iced tea company. I think it was Lipton. The end of these commercials always showed someone taking a drink of the tea, smiling broadly, and then falling backward into a sparkling blue swimming pool. Remember those commercials?
The other day I was thinking about following Jesus, doing the will of God, and how so many of us have a hard time completely surrendering to Him. I think it’s a trust issue.

Continuing to learn about wisdom and foolishness, evil and righteousness.
It’s been awhile. Things around the church have been changing a lot. Pastor Mel Bennett retired after 39 years, and Steve O’Brien, who has been with the church for nearly 20 years, as youth pastor and then associate pastor, is now senior pastor.
Something else that’s new is that we are posting videos of al the sermons at Lifespring.tv.
Actually, we stream the video LIVE each Sunday there at Lifespring.tv, and within minutes of the conclusion of the sermon, the video is saved and available any time. So if you’d like to join us live each Sunday, come on by.
We start the stream at about 11 o’clock a.m., Pacific time.
In today’s sermon, Pastor Steve teaches on prayer.
