Jesus heals many and tells several parables in chapters 12 and 13. He runs up against the religious establishment, as well.

Jesus sends out the twelve, and has some difficult teaching for some people, but ends today’s reading with a wonderful invitation to the weary. Chapters 10 and 11.

Finishing the Sermon on the Mount, and then Jesus goes about performing miracles.

Reading Matthew 5 and 6…the most famous sermon in human history…the Sermon on the Mount.

Today, we begin the Gospel of Matthew, with the reading of the first four chapters of the book.

We come to the end of Genesis with today’s reading of chapters 48-50. We see the end of Jacob and the end of Joseph today, and hear a prophecy of the coming Messiah!

The saga of Joseph and his brothers comes to an end today.
