Job now talks about his present misery and contrasts it with the past. Then he vindicates himself once more before speaking his final piece. At this point, a young man named Elihu, who has heretofore remained silent, in deference to the older men, speaks up. He’s frustrated with the elder men, and feels as if he has something important to say.
