Today we read of the plot against Jesus, the betrayal, and the crucifixion.

Jesus feeds 4000, Peter’s confession, Jesus’ prediction of His death and resurrection, and more.

Jesus walks on water, feeds five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fish, and other miracles. Also, John the Baptizer is killed because of a young girl’s dancing.

In today’s reading Jesus tells the parable of the seed sown on different types of soil and performs many miracles, demonstrating his loving and tender heart.

Jesus demonstrates that the Sabbath was made for people, not the other way around.
