You have to feel sorry for Jeremiah, don’t you? He’s the guy that when he walks into the room, everybody shuns. How would you like to be him? No wonder he’s called the crying prophet.

All kidding aside, though. His messages to these kings and priests are difficult to carry and deliver. And when the hearers take it out on Jeremiah, it’s that much harder.
