LSFAB0006: Isaiah 1-6

Can you imagine being Isaiah with this vision of Heaven? Think of it! All of a sudden, being in the presence of the Lord, with Him sitting on His throne in all His glory.
I can relate to Isaiah’s first reaction, “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”
I shouldn’t be here! I don’t deserve to be here! I’m a dead man if anybody sees me!
But an angel burns the iniquity away with a hot coal, and Isaiah is forgiven. Not because of the angel, but because God is a God that wants to forgive!
How many times has He forgiven His people? Over and over he gives them the chance to return to Him. Until finally, he sent His Son to be the ultimate, final sacrifice. Once and for all, for all time.
Hallelujah!
