Thoughts

We saw in chapter one that the children of Israel did not do as God commanded. They did not entirely eradicate the people of the lands that God gave them.

In leaving a remnant of these people, they invited untold heartache upon themselves, and as we read on in the Bible, we shall see that is exactly what happened.
