My, my, my but it’s been a long day. You’re probably hearing this on Tuesday, but I’m recording on Monday night after a jam packed day. I’ll tell you a little bit of it on the other side of the reading. I just wanted you to know the reason we are only going to read one chapter today. It will be Genesis chapter 23, from the New Century Version…
READING
May God bless the reading of His Word.
A very sad day for Abraham. He and Sarah had known each other literally their entire lives. Remember, they had the same father. Plus, this is the woman through whom God fulfilled His promise to Abraham. Their love must have been profound.
So I mentioned the long day. In a nutshell, here’s my day: Get up early to take care of some bookkeeping and email. Doctor’s appointment with my son and his surgeon at 10 o’clock. Get home, work on the next Bryan Duncan newsletter. A quick lunch. Prepare for a voice over lesson with my coach. Do the lesson. Work in the back yard to do some chores that have gone undone too long. Work more on the Bryan Duncan newsletter. Send it to Bryan for approval. And I’m still waiting on that as I record this.
I didn’t do the next chapter because it has 66 verses. The longest chapter so far.
