Resurrection Sunday! Truly the most holy day of the year. Jesus lives! He is sitting right now at the right hand of the Father, interceding for you and for me. If you know Him, if you are His, He has forgiven your every sin, and He sees you as spotless, because He already paid the price for them. He proved his authority to do that by conquering death. Hallelujah.

Today we’ll read chapter Genesis 30 from the New King James Version. Competition among the wives.

Notice, please, that Jacob having more than one wife was not against the Law, because the Law had not yet been given. But seeing how they compete and strive against one another, it is easy to understand why God later made it clear that one wife is His plan.
