It’s the first day of the weekend, and the first day in a new book! Genesis is behind us, and we move on now to the book of Exodus. In chapter 1, We’re reading from the New English Translation.

May God bless the reading of His Word.

Just goes to show that you cannot presume that just because you are welcome under one ruler or government that you will always be welcome. When a new Pharaoh came into power, the Israelites came under oppression. Obviously, this was not a situation that Joseph could have ever imagined. My friend, do not assume that we as Christians will always be welcomed in our country. We must be vigilant in maintaining our religious liberty.
