On this episode, we see Moses and the people of Israel sing a song of praise to the Lord for leading them out of Egypt, and then the people begin to complain almost immediately. We’re reading from the Holman Christian Standard Bible, Exodus 15 and 16.

May God bless the reading of His Word.
So they sing a song of praise, and then right away they begin to complain. “Boo hoo hoo. What are we going to drink?” “Boo hoo hoo. We should have stayed in Egypt. At least we had meat to eat.”
This is why it is a good thing to keep a journal of your relationship with God. Put your prayer requests in there, your praises, and the times when God acted on your behalf. My friend Bryan Duncan’s wife, Casandra, inspired Bryan to write a song by something she does. When she sees God’s hand in something, she looks up and says, “I see you!”, as a way to acknowledge Him.
That’s a good thing to do. Acknowledge God. Write it in a journal, even sing a song. I’m sure Bryan won’t mind if I share his song with you right after we close today. Speaking of which, now would be a good time to do just that. Until tomorrow, may God bless you richly. I’m Steve Webb.
And this is Bryan Duncan with “I See You.”
