Hello! It’s Monday, and there is an entire week of promise ahead of us. I hope your weekend was as good as mine. Yesterday, after a wonderful service at church, the lovely lady LeeAnn and I spent the afternoon at Laguna Beach. I posted a few pictures on my Facebook timeline if you care to take a look.

On today’s reading, which will be Exodus 23 and 24, God gives a few more ordinances and God calls Moses up to the mountain for a 40 day stay…

May God bless the reading of His Word.

So there were more laws about fairness and justice, the sabbath, and annual festivals, and God told the children of Israel to have nothing to do with some specific groups of people. He told them to worship only Him.

They agreed to obey God’s laws, and then Moses was called by God to Mount Sinai once more. And interestingly, our reading today said that the group that Moses took to the foot of Mount Sinai actually saw God. Wow. How would you have liked to have been in that group?
