In Leviticus chapter 5, God’s instructions for sin offerings continues. In Matthew 17, Jesus has an unusual meeting. We are reading today from the New King James Version.

May God bless the reading of His Word.
Is it just me, or do you also see a parallel between pouring out the blood of the sacrifice at the base of the altar, and the blood that Jesus shed, running down the cross to the ground below?
In Matthew I just realized something for the first time. I have read this passage many, many times, and never noticed this. It’s where the disciples asked Jesus why they were unable to cast out the demon from the boy. Jesus told them it was because of their unbelief. Notice he didn’t say it was because they didn’t have enough faith. He said unbelief! He went on to say that if they had just had faith the size of a mustard seed, which is *tiny*, they could move mountains!
Friends, how often do we ask things of God, when in our hearts we don’t believe? Something to think about.
