Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here today. It’s good to have you along. Today in Leviticus 6, there are more laws concerning different offerings. In Matthew 18, we learn how much Jesus loves children, and how sternly he will deal with those who might hurt them. Today we will be reading from the New International Version .

We have just a couple more chapters in Leviticus where God is laying out the laws for offerings. I’m glad we don’t have to keep them all straight today, aren’t you?

While reading Matthew, I was struck with the seriousness with which we must take forgiveness. How can we who have received God’s lavish gift of grace not forgive others? God has given us eternal life when we deserved eternal death. How can we not forgive those who have wronged us? I have to tell you, this is one I’m working on myself. I confess, I cannot do it. I need God’s help. And I remember that Philippians 4:13 tells us that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” All things. Thank you Lord.
