Lifespring! Family Audio Bible - Steve WebbWelcome! I hope you’re doing well today. This *is* the day that the Lord has made, after all! Listen. I have a very important thing to talk to you about after the reading today, so please stick around for that, ok? Thanks.

Today in Leviticus 7, we conclude the laws regarding the various sacrifices. In Matthew 19, Jesus talks about divorce. Today we are again reading from the New International Version .

May God bless the reading of His Word.

Tomorrow we will read about the ordination of Aaron and his sons as priests.

Why do you suppose it is so difficult for the wealthy to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven? Any ideas? Does God hate the wealthy? Does He hate money.

Some of you probably know about the health problems my son, Steven, has had this year. For those who don’t know, I’ll summarize very briefly. Just after the start of this year, his colon perforated as a result of a very severe case of ulcerative colitis. He had to have emergency surgery, and his colon was removed, and he almost died. He was in the hospital for over a month, and is still not completely recovered from the surgery. He needs two more surgeries, one of which will take place on June the 10th.

The health insurance policy which was in effect at the time of the surgery was through my wife, the lovely lady LeeAnn’s work. About two weeks after the surgery, while Steven was still in the hospital, she lost her job. We are now paying for the insurance through COBRA, at the cost of just over $2,000 per month. In addition to that enormous expense, our portion of the hospital bills are staggering. As an example, just a few days ago we got the bill for the antibiotics that Steven had to have administered by us via IV when he came home from the hospital. Take a guess how much. Over $40,000. And that’s just a very small portion of the total expenses.

Steven’s girlfriend has set up a donation page for Steven over on Facebook. If you can do anything at all to help, even just share the page, or give even a small donation, it would be much appreciated. Just go to StevenWebb.net. Any help at all would be appreciated….your prayers most of all, as we prepare for the next surgery.

Thank you.

I’ll talk with you tomorrow. Until then, may God bless you richly. I’m Steve Webb.
