Rejoice! It’s Monday! If you’re on your way to work right now, or if you are listening at another time and you do have a job, you have reason to rejoice. God has given you employment. Many would like to be in your position.
If you are unemployed, you too have reason to rejoice. You have more time to get close to your loving Heavenly Father who knows what you need, even before you ask. Seek His Kingdom, and He will provide your needs.
Today in Leviticus 13, you will probably learn more about leprosy that you probably ever knew, and in Matthew 25, Jesus tells some parables about being ready for the return of the Master. We are again in the New King James Version.

May God bless the reading of His Word.
Unless you have read chapter 13 of Leviticus before, you had no idea there was so much to know about leprosy, did you? My goodness. Seems like a flow chart would be helpful, huh?
And in Matthew, remember that in the last chapter, Jesus told the disciples what to watch for to know when His second coming would be. So these parables today were to drive home the idea that we need to be prepared, because his return will happen, and we want to be ready. The consequences of unpreparedness will not be good. The rewards of being prepared will be glorious. I long to hear those words, “Well done, good and faithful servant…. Enter into the joy of your lord.”
