Today we’ll read Numbers 8, Luke 3 and Psalm chapter 18 from the New Living Translation.
Before we do that, though, I would like to remind you to go to PineConeCoffee.com and take a look at some of the wonderful flavors my lifelong friends, Del and Kathi Brixey have for you, if you’re a coffee lover like I am. Now, I’m a guy who likes my coffee black, strong and no sugar or other flavorings, so my choice is Lakeside Espresso. With its dark roasted beans this is for folks who choose espresso or love “old school” coffee made in a pan on the stove or over a camp fire. Great stuff to start your morning with! PineConeCoffee.com, with Honduran grown coffee beans. Order some today!
READING
May God bless the reading of His Word.
So the Levites are dedicated to the Lord so they can work in the Tabernacle, John prepares the way for Jesus. And we traced his lineage back to David, and Adam. Very interesting. Genealogies always seemed boring and pointless to me in the past, before I read through the Bible and learned about many of the men listed here. And it’s pretty cool, if I say so myself, being able to correctly pronounce the names in the list, quite easily. Having spent two years compiling a list of every name in the Bible, it’s fun to now be able to use the book I wrote, to refresh my memory so that I read every name correctly for you. If you find yourself with the opportunity to read passages with difficult names in them, you really should check out the book for yourself. EasyBibleNamesGuide.com. Every copy sold helps support me and my family. EasyBibleNamesGuide.com.
And don’t forget the Pine Cone Coffee Company, at PineConeCoffee.com. When you buy from them, your helping to support great coffee, but even better, you’re helping to support some lifelong friends of mine, Del and Kathi Brixey.
Until tomorrow, may God bless you richly. I’m Steve Webb.
