READING
May God bless the reading of His Word.
Wouldn’t it be cool if we could get direction from God today as clearly as the people of Israel did when they were in the desert? When the cloud moved, they moved. When it stayed, they stayed.
And I wonder what our reaction would be if Jesus showed up in one of our churches, read a prophecy about Himself, and then said, “I’m that guy!” Hm.
And I love how Psalm 19 ends: “Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing in Your eyes, O Lord.” That should be our prayer every day, every moment of the day.
Thanks for being with me today, and thanks to Del and Kathi Brixey, proprietors over there at PineConeCoffee.com. Really. Go order a pound right now.
Until tomorrow, may God bless you richly. I’m Steve Webb.
