May God bless the reading of His Word.

Today in Numbers 14 we saw what happens when you forget where your blessings come from. Listen, God is quick to forgive, as we saw in today’s reading. But often, consequences cannot be avoided. God is a God of love, but He is also God, and not to be trifled with. I think sometimes we take Him too lightly.

Imagine the confusion the disciples must have felt when, as everyone was marveling at all Jesus did in Luke 9, Jesus told his disciples that he would be delivered into the hands of men. We’re told that they didn’t grasp what he meant, so I think they must’ve been confused. Everyone around was saying how amazing this Jesus was, and they were probably celebrating the healings and such, and then He says, “I will be delivered into the hands of men.”

The 24th Psalm asks, “Who is this King of glory?” and then proceeds to answer it. Reminds me of the Third Day song “King of Glory”. It’s a great song. I’ll post the YouTube video on the show notes page at LifespringMedia.com and on the Lifespring Media Facebook page. Take a look. It’s really good.
