Today we’ll read Numbers 29, Luke 24 and Psalm 39 from the New KJV.

So Luke’s account of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is concluded. It’s interesting that what was important to Luke about Jesus’ last words was Jesus telling the disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they received power from Heaven…or as we know now, the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Remember that with Matthew and Mark, their accounts talked about Jesus telling the disciples to go and tell the good news, or gospel, to the whole world. Not contradictory accounts, just different emphases.
