Today we’ll read Deuteronomy chapter 17, Acts chapter 3, and Psalm 63 , from the Holman Christian Standard Bible.

May God bless the reading of His Word.
At the start of this new week, I would like to encourage you in the faith. I don’t know what is happening in your life, but please know that our God is just as involved in the lives of people today as He was when the words of Scripture were being written.
A friend of mine has a daughter who is in high school, and was hit by a car recently as she was leaving a school football game. As she was crossing the street, the driver ran a red light and hit the girl at a speed of 25-30 mph. The girl was tossed through the air, and landed several feet away. The car hit her so hard that it was dented, according to my friend. His daughter? A broken collar bone and various scrapes and bruises. No internal injuries, no head injuries, so surgery, no stitches.
This was, as my friend said, “Quite simply, a miracle. Best early birthday present ever. God is good.”
And so He is.
Have a great Monday. May God bless you richly. I’m Steve Webb.
