May God bless the reading of His Word.

I like that God reminded the children of Israel about their bondage in Egypt, so they would not mistreat those who were vulnerable. Wouldn’t it be great if businesses today were run like that?

How about we see if we can keep in mind how much grace we have received at the hand of God, and cut some extra slack to those around us? If we can just make our own little corners of the world a little bit gentler, wouldn’t that be a good thing?

Have you heard about Movember? It’s an annual thing that has been going on for some years, and I decided to take part this year. It takes place each November, and its purpose is to raise awareness and money to help fight prostate cancer, testicular cancer and other men’s health issues. During the entire month, participants grow their mustaches as a sign of their involvement, and as a way to start conversations about the issues. My page on the Movember website where you can donate to the cause, if you so desire, is most easily reached by going to stevewebb.net/movember. It’s spelled like November, except with an “M” instead of an “N”. If you would like to donate, that would be awesome. I’ve posted a short explanation there about how cancer has touched my life, and why I am involved this year.
