Comments on Chapter 1

My comments today are short because the reading was long.

Well today we saw in chapter 1 that the children of Israel did not do as God commanded them. They did not entirely eradicate the people of the lands that God gave them. And in leaving a remnant of these people, they invited untold heartache upon themselves, and as we read on in the Bible we shall see that that is exactly what happened. There’s a good article at gotquestions.org that expands on this.
