My friend, Bryan Duncan, had a Kickstarter campaign that made it possible for him to record his new album Conversations. As his friend and webmaster of BryanDuncan.com, I got to share the process with Bryan as he wrote and recorded some great new songs.
Fans who’ve already received a pre-release copy of the album are calling it one of the best of his illustrious career.
Now you get the opportunity to listen to it, free for a limited time, and buy a special-edition version before the album is available in stores or even released to media. You can also help me make sure the album gets noticed by sharing the story.
Bryan’s body of work includes six albums with Sweet Comfort Band, three with the NehoSoul Band and 13 solo albums prior to Conversations. He was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame along with Amy Grant and Al Green. He has received three Dove Awards and one Grammy Award.
You might have missed the opportunity to be a part of this project from the beginning but you can still join the inner circle. Bryan’s Indiegogo campaign offers unique perks like autographed first-run posters, special videos and an opportunity to talk with the artist. There are also rewards for churches and charities that want to partner with Duncan to expand their outreach.
NOTE: As I write this, there are only four days left on this campaign, and Bryan is about $3,000 shy of making his $10,000 goal for the Indiegogo campaign. If you can help out, that would be GREAT!
Christopher Redner, CEO of Children in Need and an award-winning producer and journalist, is serving as a communications strategist for the Conversations project and its efforts to support charities and churches. “I’m pleased to be helping Bryan and his audience increase the impact of some wonderful nonprofits,” says Redner. “I believe there are some great people who are looking for ways to do something meaningful with their time and talents. The Conversations project will help them do that.”
