What does Proverbs 16:3 really mean when it tells us to commit our work to the Lord?

What Are You Really Giving to God?
Is Proverbs 16:3 a promise that God will make our plans succeed once we “commit” them to Him?
Or is Solomon inviting us to surrender something more than the outcome?
That question leads us into Psalm 37:5, where the same Hebrew picture appears again, and then into Jesus’ words in John 15:7 about remaining in Him and allowing His words to remain in us.
